Lantra Tractor Driving Training in the Cotswolds

Tuppco Training is pleased to have recently delivered a Lantra 2-Day Tractor Driving Training Course for a novice operator on a beautiful rural estate in the Cotswolds. The course was designed specifically for one candidate, allowing plenty of one-to-one tuition and practical hands-on experience throughout the two days.

Comprehensive Training for a Novice Tractor Operator

As this was a complete beginner, the course covered all the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate a tractor and associated equipment.

During the two day Lantra accredited course, the candidate successfully completed training in:

• Health and safety responsibilities
• Understanding and using the operator’s manual
• Carrying out pre-use safety inspections and daily checks
• Tractor controls and instruments
• Basic tractor functions and operation
• Hitching and operating trailed equipment
• Hitching and operating 3-point linkage implements
• Safe use of the Power Take-Off (PTO)
• Operating a front loader with a variety of different attachments

The two day format provided an excellent amount of time for the candidate to build confidence, ask questions and gain valuable practical experience in a safe working environment.

Successful Theory and Practical Assessment
