Tuppco recently delivered a series of NPORS Experienced Worker Tests (EWT) for a valued long-term client, JMS Groundworks, at their Northleach base.

The day proved to be a great success, with the candidate successfully passing all four NPORS assessments.

The Experienced Worker Tests were completed in the following categories:

• NPORS N202 – 360 Excavator
• NPORS N204 – Forward Tipping Dumper
• NPORS N214 – Road Roller
• NPORS N402 – Slinger Signaller

Passing all four assessments in a single day is an excellent achievement and demonstrates the candidate’s extensive plant operating experience and industry knowledge.

International Experience Brings Valuable Skills

The candidate had recently returned to the UK after working in Australia, where he had completed the equivalent plant operator assessments and gained valuable experience working on construction and civil engineering projects. His overseas experience translated well into the NPORS assessment process, allowing him to demonstrate competence across multiple plant categories.

The NPORS Experienced Worker Test route is designed for operators who already possess significant practical experience but require formal certification to verify their skills and competence. It provides an efficient pathway for experienced workers to gain recognised plant operator qualifications without attending full novice training courses.
