Lantra ATV Sit-In Training at Coombend Estate in the Cotswolds

Tuppco were recently at Coombend Estate in the Cotswolds, delivering a one-day Lantra ATV Sit-In Training course for three novice ATV operators.

The course was led by Tuppco’s Lead Instructor, Bertie Tupper, and combined essential ATV safety knowledge with practical, hands-on training across the estate.

The Lantra ATV training course covered all the key areas required for safe ATV operation, including general health and safety, understanding the operator’s manual, PPE requirements, pre-use checks and understanding the ATV controls.

The candidates also completed site checks and risk assessments, before putting their skills into practice while operating an ATV over a variety of diverse terrain. Practical training also included carrying loads and towing trailed equipment, giving the candidates valuable experience relevant to their day-to-day working environment.

The day was full of useful discussion and interesting conversation, with all three candidates showing a great attitude towards their training. By the end of the course, they had demonstrated their knowledge and practical skills and successfully passed both the theory and practical tests.
